Digital Menu Platforms for Restaurants: Seven Workflows

Key Takeaway
Compare seven menu, ordering and POS platforms by workflow, pricing model and migration needs, with official sources checked October 10, 2026.
Choose the workflow first
A restaurant looking for a readable menu link has a different job from a restaurant replacing online ordering or its POS. This guide compares seven platforms by those jobs rather than assigning one overall winner.
We build Menujo. Its product facts below come from the current plans and application. Rival descriptions come from their official pages checked on October 10, 2026. We have not completed a paid implementation or a controlled performance test of each rival. A feature listed by a vendor is not an independent test result.
Questions to answer before comparing

| Multiple venues | Per-location charges, permissions, menu ownership and staff access |
| Total cost | Software, tax, hardware, processing, setup, add-ons and renewal terms |
Menujo: Menu display and QR access
Menujo hosts menu pages that guests open through a link or QR code. Free includes one menu, 50 items, 10 categories and seven days of basic analytics. Pro is $7/month or $70/year and includes 10 menus, 250 items per menu and 60 days of analytics. Business is $12/month or $120/year, with 100 menus, 1,000 items per menu and 90 days of analytics.
Pro and Business include CSV menu import/export and paid analytics reports. Business adds traffic sources. You enter translated content yourself; Menujo can display right-to-left menu text. It does not replace order acceptance, payment processing or POS operations. Check Menujo pricing and try the public demo.
GloriaFood: Existing ordering service with announced closure
GloriaFood is an online ordering service with an announced closure. Its homepage gives April 30, 2027, while Oracle's food and beverage page gives March 31, 2027 and says new signups are closed. These notices conflict, so existing operators should obtain written confirmation for their account and modules.
Do not choose a menu display tool as a complete ordering replacement. List payments, reservations, order notifications and fulfillment separately. The GloriaFood migration guide links both notices and provides a transition checklist.
MenuTiger: QR menu and ordering platform
MenuTiger is presented as a QR menu and ordering platform. Its current site and pricing page returned too little readable content in this review to verify exact tier limits or prices. We therefore omit those figures.
Use the official pricing page to confirm current store limits, orders, payments, user access and charges in your market. Test a real order if ordering is part of your requirement.
Menubly: Menu website and online ordering
Menubly's official pricing page describes a menu website, QR access and pickup/delivery ordering. It lists Pro at $9.99 monthly or $95.99 yearly. The same page shows a Free card, while its FAQ describes a trial followed by paid service. Confirm the continuing Free entitlement before relying on it.
Check Menubly pricing for current limits, domain options and ordering terms. Verify local payments and fulfillment separately.
FineDine: QR and tablet menus with ordering features
FineDine's current pricing page describes QR and tablet menus alongside ordering and reservation features. Its displayed annual-billing prices are Starter $29/month, Growth $69/month and Premium $135/month. These are annual-billing rates, not verified month-to-month charges.
Check FineDine pricing for venue scope, language and order limits, payment availability and hardware needs. Vendor-listed AI functions require a separate trial before you rely on their output.
CloudWaitress: Online ordering and reservations
CloudWaitress offers online ordering and reservations. Its pricing page lists Starter as free with a combined limit of 100 orders and bookings per month. It says guests cannot start new orders or bookings after that limit, while the website stays active.
The page shows both AUD and USD prices. Confirm the selected currency and tax treatment before comparing paid costs. Check CloudWaitress pricing and verify payment-gateway coverage for your country.
Toast: Restaurant POS and connected services
Toast is a restaurant POS platform with connected ordering, payments and hardware services. Its pricing FAQ says upfront hardware and implementation costs vary, and access requires approved compatible devices.
Request the complete proposal through Toast pricing. Compare software, processing, hardware, setup, optional modules and contract terms together. A menu-hosting subscription alone is not a comparable POS quote.
Test your shortlist with one service workflow
-
Build a small real menu
Use your own categories, long item names, prices, translated text and sold-out items. Check it on the phones guests use. -
Test the required transaction
If you need ordering, place an order, confirm staff receipt, and test a cancellation or refund under the vendor's allowed test procedure. -
Check updates and continuity
Change a price, hide an item and verify the public destination. Confirm what happens when a menu URL or account changes. -
Calculate the full year
Use the billing frequency you will actually purchase. Add hardware, setup, printing, payment fees, tax and staff time. Our printing-cost worksheet can help with the print portion. -
Keep a migration fallback
Retain an accessible printed menu and verify links before replacing signage. Export only through documented options, and keep permitted source files.

Additional Oracle notice
Oracle's EOL FAQ also names April 30, 2027. See the closure guide for the conflicting notices and account checks.
